Story
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to push yourself beyond your limits and be tested like youve never been tested before. Our challenge will consist of a small group of fellow adventurers.
Get ready to learn new skills and survive the extreme cold of the arctic regions while raising money for children living with the painful genetic skin condition EB (epidermolysis bullosa). It is not for the faint-hearted but the reward youll feel at the end of it will be worth it.
The first days are dedicated to learning the skills you need to stay alive in this harsh environment building up to the expedition when we pack our sleds and head off into the wilderness pulling sleeping equipment, food, clothing etc. We will camp overnight in sub-zero temperatures in the Lapland wilds.
Accommodation is provided in hostel style rooms. Theres no electricity but there is a fantastic traditional Finnish sauna and log fires to keep us warm. All equipment, outerwear and sleeping bags are provided. This is a team effort, so participants will be asked to pitch in and help.
