This year, Arcadis will be fundraising to support Action for Children as they aim to ensure that every child and young person in the country has a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive.

Right now, over 4 million children live in poverty across the UK. That's almost 30% of all children. And with the impact of the cost-of-living crisis hitting home, they're even more vulnerable. Tonight, many will go to sleep hungry. Some won't even have a warm bed to climb into or a safe space to wake up in.

Action for Children are a vital lifeline - but we can't do it without you.

Arcadis will be fundraising to make sure children have the basics like warm clothes, hot meals and a proper bed. Action for Children can help them recover from abuse and neglect and put support in place for families to protect against it happening. And, they can offer the right mental health support, so children thrive.

Some examples of where your fundraising could support children, young people and their families:

-£15 could pay for books and toys to help a child learn.

-£25 could pay for bedding and other soft furnishings for a young person moving into care, helping them to make their room feel like their own.

-£50 could pay for outdoor play equipment at one of our residential children's homes.

-£100 could pay for a bike for a young person moving into foster care, allowing them to join in with their foster families active lifestyle.

-£150 could provide a baby with a cot, giving them a safe place to sleep.
