Story
The New Normal Charity is a peer to peer support charity that connects people through their grief and mental health. The New Normal Charity offers a completely free alternative to one on one therapy. Changing the way we discuss our grief, mental health and well-being in open and honest spaces. Nobody should ever feel isolated and there is always someone who will relate to your story.
A Race To Nowhere is a cycle race with a difference created to raise money for The New Normal Charity. The format for our second year of A Race To Nowhere is as follows:
ARTN 22 will take place in the month of June 2022
40 teams of 5 riders.
Ride as far as you can. We suggest a soft target of 5000km per team. Each rider in the team logs their kms to help achieve the teams cumulative goal.
£250 fundraising target for each rider. All proceeds to The New Normal Charity.
Teams will compete in mini leagues and distances will be logged on Strava. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 league leaders and top 3 teams overall. Grand prizes of equal size will be awarded to the team who cover the most distance and the team who fundraise the largest amount.
We will be running rides in person and virtually throughout June to encourage people to get together and stay energised.
We will also be hosting a launch and close events in London to get together and celebrate the competition. Look out for mini competitions throughout the month to keep all riders motivated.
