A Race To Nowhere is a cycle race with a difference created to raise money for The New Normal Charity. The New Normal offer completely free peer support groups for grief and mental health for diverse communities. A charity run completely on the time given by a team of dedicated volunteers. Any funds raised will help the charity to build beyond volunteers and grow to support more people through lifes challenging moments.
10 teams comprising 10 riders each, racing to see who can get to 10,000km and beyond (the furthest wins) in the month of August 2021. Each team is responsible for raising donations for The New Normal Charity.
With intentions to create an annual race so that The New Normal can continue to deliver support and free services to more people who have felt challenged by their grief and mental health.
Prizes: 1st placed team will win paid accomodation on A long weekend with a weekend of guided riding in Europe with Nick Frendo from AscndCC. 2nd placed team will win a bike fit for each rider with Tim Allen at Soignuer. 3rd placed team will all receive a Wahoo Bolt.
There will also be three prizes for top individual riders who complete 1,000km plus each and are not a part of a team.
