The annual RNLI Clovelly to Appledore Lifeboat Station Walk will be taking place this year on Saturday 13 September.
The 16-mile walk follows the follows the stunning South West Coast Path.
Leaving Clovelly at 9am with frequent marshal posts, water and first aid cover, the walk should take approximately 5 hours, reaching Appledore Lifeboat Station in the afternoon, with transport back to Clovelly if required.
This year the RNLI marks its 200th anniversary of the establishment of a lifeboat station at Appledore.
In 2024 over 120 people completed the walk and raised over £8,500.
To mark the anniversary we are hoping that over 200 people will take part in this years walk. It would be fantastic if we can raise £20k which would be £100 for every year that our volunteer crews have been carrying out their lifesaving work on the North Devon Coast.
Walkers must be at least 13 years old and always accompanied by an adult if under 16. For more information email the organiser roy@roybroad.com or visit https://www.rnliappledore.org.uk/events
