Visit the charity's profileThe annual RNLI Clovelly to Appledore Lifeboat Station Walk will be taking place this year on Saturday 7 September.
The 16-mile walk follows the follows the stunning South West Coast Path.
Leaving Clovelly at 9am with frequent marshal posts, water and first aid cover, the walk should take approximately 5 hours, reaching Appledore Lifeboat Station in the afternoon, with transport back to Clovelly if required.
This year the RNLI marks its 200th anniversary - during the last 200 years our volunteer crews and lifeguards have saved over 144,000 lives.
In 2023 over 100 people completed the walk and raised over £7,500.
To mark the RNLI's anniversary we are hoping that over 200 people will take part in this years walk. It would be fantastic if we can double the amount raised in 2023, so ensuring that our volunteer crews are available 24/7 to continue our lifesaving work.
Walkers must be at least 13 years old and always accompanied by an adult if under 16. For more information email the organiser chair@rnliappledore.org.uk or visit https://www.rnliappledore.org.uk/events
