Story

AOK was established in 2014 after a call for help to find a wedding ring on a local beach in Hampshire. The charity grew when it became apparent that there was a need for provision and support to those suffering crisis in the community.

In 2021 when the Covid pandemic occurred AOK stepped up as support for the areas of Fareham and Gosport providing over 10,000 food parcels. Following on from this, we have established a continued need for our service, keeping up with a demand of approximately 50-60 food parcels a week, feeding over 150 people. We are currently supported with donation bins at Asda Gosport, Tescos Fareham, Co-op Gudge Heath Lane, Warsash and Stubbington and the Poundland shops in Gosport, Fareham and Whiteley.

Acts of Kindness needs you support in order to continue helping those that are in crisis. If you are able to make a donation to this charity (which will have been in operation in August 2024) it will make a huge difference.

From all the volunteers who give up so much of their time, we thank you ❤️
