Story
Hi, my name is Ann and I have decided to do a sponsored 50 mile exercise bike ride during the month of May.
I am raising money for Flaxpits House care home in Winterbourne, Bristol, where my daughter Becky Boo has lived for the past 7 years. Becky was born with brain damage and needs constant care due to having epilepsy seizures and special needs. The staff encourage Becky Boo to do new things and are always there to support and guide her in the right direction.
I'm so grateful to the staff and other volunteers for what they have done for Becky Boo. She's a happy go lucky young lady living her best life since moving to Flaxpits at 18 years old.
Training for my sponsored cycle has been a challenge for me, particularly with having health problems. I have been training at my local gym in Goole, East Yorkshire, with the guidance of my personal trainer, Kelly, who is encouraging me every step of the way (well, peddling in this case!).
Please consider donating to support my fundraiser for Flaxpits House. My target is £200 but I would be so grateful if I raise even more for everyone at the care home.
Thank you for your support and taking time to read my story.
