Encourage your friends, family, and coworkers - and challenge yourself - to a month of physical wellness for a good cause!
When you join us for the ANDRUS Fit-A-Thon Wellness Challenge you'll not only commit to your own wellness, but you'll make a difference in the lives of the families and youth that ANDRUS serves. Once you make your first donation, you'll have the option to create your own fundraising site, and have your friends, colleagues, and family join you in the challenge or donate to the cause.
By fundraising or donating, you are allowing ANDRUS to continue to offer preventative and restorative services including preservation and support services to more than 4,500 children and families.
Simply click the donate button and get moving! If you need some ideas, we've created several options for you:
1. Choose your own workout. It can be a walk with the family, an intense training session, yoga, or a run. This can be a new workout every day or just twice a week.
2. HIIT Challenge: A HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) style workout five days a week. With your registration you will receive daily emails with a HIIT workout
3. 30 for 30 Challenge: 30 minutes of movement for 30 days; doesn't matter what you do (run, walk, yoga, weight lift, etc.), just has to be 30 minutes for 30 days!
4. Company/Family Weight Loss Challenge: Get a group together and commit to becoming healthier as a group while challenging each other to eat well and work out!
Follow ANDRUS on social media at @andruschildren and join the Fit-A-Thon Event Group. Here's where we keep each other on track. Post pictures of your workout, your active space, a screenshot of your watch or fitness app and allow us to cheer each other on from a safe distance, of course. Make sure to always use #andrusfitathon and to share to your personal fundraising page! Check every day for updates about the challenge and news from our organization.
While we may have to work out solo, you don't have to feel alone. Invite the others to the challenge so you can push and encourage each other.
