Story
We can bring ambition, hope and change to Lawra and Nandom - but we need your support to do it.
Our work has already transformed thousands of lives. We’ve enabled 3,200 children to attend school, 135 small businesses to thrive and 600 disabled children and carers to come into the light. Focusing on education, enterprise and inclusion, the ripple effect through families and communities is tangible – we touch the lives of everyone in the remote, underserved villages where we work.
We operate through our bespoke hub model, with a local manager and local team providing services tailored to the needs of each community. Each project dovetails with the others, maximising resources and providing value for money.
You can make a difference…here’s how:
£25 feeds a child this term, so they can learn on a full stomach
£100 gives four children the gift of education (books, pens, maths sets)
£500 supports an apprentice to learn a trade (equipment, materials, training)
£1,000 helps an entrepreneur kickstart a business – in return we’ll proudly provide a personal message and a report
£2,500 gives a disability group the equipment, medication and care they need for a whole year – in return, receive a personal message, children’s drawings and a report
£6,000 feeds a whole school for a year and change dozens of lives forever – as a thank you, you’ll get termly personal messages from the children and a report from us.
Lawra is our Centre of Excellence, where we uplift a whole community of 50,000 for less than £250,00 a year. Now, we’re expanding to neighbouring Nandom, where people are asking for change. We’ve already begun building a beautiful Inclusion Centre, which will be the heart of our operations.
We have to raise an extra £100,000 to fulfil the demand in both Lawra and Nandom – the people are hungry for change and we can’t let them down. Join us in our ambitious, hopeful mission, and positive change can and will come. Thank you.
