The Oaks is a nurse led Palliative Care Day Unit, based in Elgin to support the People of Moray. The aim is to achieve the best possible quality of life for patients and their families when they are affected by cancer or a palliative illness. The Oaks support, educate and enable people to manage their condition and changing health needs in a welcoming, friendly and relaxed environment. The charitable organisation Friends of The Oaks allow enhanced services to happen such as complimentary and creative therapy. They also support with making the environment comfortable and allow the staff to offer an individualised patient experience.
