This morning two generous alumni offered to match all gifts, up to $16,000, received by the end of the Alumni Weekend. Give to Goddard today to show the impact of our alumni community and and make your contribution do twice the work!
UPDATE: We are now 30% of the way to our $16,000 goal thanks to a gift of $5,000 from an anonymous donor! Please spread the word and help us reach our goal and 50 new donors to meet our matching challenge. Every bit counts!
Dear Goddard,
We're writing to you from the 2019 Alumni Weekend Residency. We've been keeping busy with workshops, presentations, performances, conferences and more. The energy on campus is incredible!
It is amazing to see what is possible when our alums come together - to build community, share our stories, support each other and make an impact in the world.
Inspired by last year's spur of the moment Alumni Weekend campaign, two of our generous alumni - Patricia Shepherd and Dennis Rea - are pledging to donate to Goddard and to match gifts given this weekend. If we are able to get 50 new donors by OR raise $16,000 in donations by this Sunday, these alumni will donate an additional $16,000.
This is a great opportunity to double the impact of your gift, demonstrate your support for Goddard, and to increase our Alumni Giving statistics. Just 50 more donors will increase our participation rate - a statistic that impacts college rankings, enrollment, and our accreditation status.
Make your donation go twice as far and give by midnight this Sunday (Oct 6th), and up to 16,000 will be matched! All gifts, regardless of size, are greatly appreciated. It's your support and your participation that makes a huge difference!
Go Goddard!
