It’s that time of the year again, when the staff, Participants and partners set off on the annual sponsored walk to raise much needed funds to support the running costs of our many programmes that support the physical & mental wellbeing of our community.

On Friday 18th April, the walking team, will set off from Rochdale’s Crown Oil Stadium and walk the 20 miles back to the J. Davidson stadium in time for the Altrincham FC v Rochdale 3pm kick off.

Head of Community Simon Dow was keen to highlight the importance of the sponsored walk

“The sponsored walk has become an extremely important part of our fundraising campaign each year and provides the charity with funding that we can utilise to cover the costs that aren’t covered by our grant funding. With costs for utilities, equipment and salary continually increasing, it is becoming harder every year to find the funds to cover the general costs without impacting our user groups.

All donations will be gratefully received and will support the amazing work we continually deliver to support Altrincham & South Trafford residents.”
