You'll have the choice to receive an e-certificate that you can forward by email to your recipient, or a physical certificate mailed to your address that you can personalise and send or give by hand. To receive a physical certificate, you must provide your mailing address - either with your donation or separately by emailing us at info@newways.org.uk. Also, please don't donate anonymously as we won't then be able to see your details in order to send your gift certificate. Rest assured that in compliance with current rules we will only communicate with you in respect of your donation/gift, unless you have provided consent for your details to be added to our email subscription list.

£5 will provide access to water to 10 people for a whole year which will allow more children to attend school

Water is critical for survival, and even more so during periods of severe drought, that many of the communities we support must frequently endure. Typically, it's the young girls in a family who are then sent out daily, in search of water, encountering danger along disputed river beds, and from excavating holes in the precarious dry river beds rocks, before carrying their heavy burden for many miles. In doing so they are denied the education that over time would help to lift them and their families from such poverty. And yet, below ground there is often an abundance of water. The solution is to drill more boreholes, and bring the water to the communities for drinking, cooking and bathing, to watering holes to keep their animals healthy, and to irrigate their crops.
