Story
What we do
All Saints Church is a welcoming and inclusive church at the heart of our community. We have a dynamic and growing worshiping community. We offer essential services such as a food larder, warm spaces and support for those in need. Within the church building, we have a well-used hall for lots of different clubs and services.
We proudly serve one of the poorest areas in the country, working with people of all faiths and none. Each year, our church welcomes over 15,000 people looking for help, connection and a place to worship and belong.
Our history
All Saints serves local people from our grade II listed building. It was built in the 1840s as a garrison church for The Buffs Regiment. The building was converted in 1976 to became part of the Church of England. The church is led by our wonderful vicar, Rev. Patrick Ellisdon, supported by a team of enthusiastic volunteers.
What we need
To continue our work, we urgently need to replace our leaking roof. These repairs are crucial for keeping our building a safe and welcoming space for everyone. We're also taking steps to reach net zero by installing solar panels, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and future generations.
We have already raised £137,000 and we need your support to help us reach our goal of £250,000.
How you can help us
We would love you to help us to fundraise or to donate to our cause.
Your contribution will ensure that All Saints Church continues to be a place of support, connection and worship for years to come.
