My name is Alexandre Bernard. I’m a 35-year-old sports agent, who sends young tennis players from around the world to American universities on athletic scholarships. I am proud to be running for a charity that gives Palestinian students the transformative gift of higher education. I believe that’s crucial in helping them prepare to lead a Free Palestine.
I will be running the Lisbon marathon on October 6, with the goal of finishing in under 3 hours so that I can qualify for next year’s Boston marathon.
Like so many others recently, I have watched the plight of Palestinians, feeling hopeless and helpless. Running for the Galilee Foundation has made me feel like I’m doing something to help. Thank you for your support and donation. Every little helps.
