"I am a non-traditional student at San Antonio College. I am studying speech-language pathology, because I am a traumatic brain injury survivor and had a language disorder caused by aphasia. In the tradition of my mother, I am doing what she did by going to SAC and then transferring to a university. I have overcome the limitations of my brain injury and want to keep moving forward.
