What does sacrifice mean to you?
This year, we’d like to request our donors to focus on the true meaning of sacrifice.
Qurbani should not be an ‘empty’ ritual, it is not a task on your to-do list to be completed, we have to perform it sincerely, for the sake of Allah SWT alone.
Indeed, it is not their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is your piety that reaches Him." - The Holy Quran 22:37
Our Qurbani project has been among the largest in the UK.
Eid ul-Adha is one of the rare occasions where beneficiaries from poverty-stricken backgrounds are able to enjoy meat when they would typically live deprived of it year-round.
Last year, we had 3 million beneficiaries from our Qurbani distribution, providing them a joyous Eid to remember!
