In 2023/2024 , we supported 6,064 older people across Waltham Forest through our vital services, including our Befriending Programme, Information and Advice Service, Independent Living Services and over 30 weekly activities. Many of these individuals live alone and face the challenges of loneliness and isolation.

This Christmas, we aim to reach 200 isolated older people in our community through our Christmas Hamper Appeal. Our hampers will include a variety of thoughtful items, such as delicious festive food, health and beauty gifts, and engaging activities like puzzle books. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, each hamper will be home-delivered, ensuring that these special older people feel remembered and cared for.
