Story
Age UK Bexley needs your help
We are continuing to provide a vital life line for older people across the borough of Bexley. But since the crisis commenced we have had to operate with 50% of our tradditional revenues. Despite this, our staff and volunteers have provided support, advice and services to over 500 people. Organising telephone befriending services, digital cafe's, dog walking, welfare advice and specialist Covid-19 information services over the phone. But to grow and develop new work as well as just keep the lights on we will need all the help we can get.
Covid - 19 is seriously bad news if you are older, vulnerable and isolated. Locally older people tell us they are lonely, concerned about their health and how they will shop and eat. As a first port of call for many older people and their families in the borough we may not be able to help everyone, but will always know somone who can.
Please fund raise to help us meet our taget - and keep the lights on at Age UK Bexley for this crisis and the future that follows it.
