The women of Afghanistan have lived with conflict for more than four decades. Entire generations have never known peace and millions remain displaced.

Renewed violence and instability are now threatening an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. Hundreds of thousands of women have been newly displaced across the country since the start of this year alone. Many fled with just the clothes on their back and are struggling to survive in appalling conditions, sheltering in tents made only of cloth. The state of widows is even worse as they are left to provide food and shelter for their children. We are their only hope.

We are passionate about alleviating some of their pain from these remarkable women and widows. We do this through our 'Educate an Orphan' project which provides income to children's families so that they don't have to collect rubbish on the streets to feed their families. We also provide food packages for a family of six which lasts up to a month. This includes essential cooking supplies and ingredients.
