Whether you're strolling around your home, keeping busy with family chores or are planning to run the Maidenhead Easter 10K on Good Friday, every step counts towards making a difference to local Lives affected by Dementia.
Alzheimers Dementia Support ‘ADS’ supports those affected by Dementia in Maidenhead, Windsor, Ascot and Slough. Whether they have Dementia themselves or are a Carer or Family member of someone with Dementia, 'ADS' provides a safe space, information and many meaningful interactions for those most often isolated by the disease.
The Charity offers social groups and lunches, exercise sessions, respite care, connection workshops, advice and guidance and most importantly a listening ear. The money raised from the March for March challenge will help to fund the Support and Services we provide to our local community.
£12 will provide 30 minutes of advice to someone when they need it most.
£27 will pay for a person with Dementia and their Carer to attend two Singing for Pleasure sessions
£45 will contribute towards the running costs of our monthly Mates with Plates Service
£62 will provide a Family in crisis with a home visit from two Dementia Advisors
£89 will help towards the cost of refreshments at all Services for two weeks
£147 will fund the whole session of Seated Exercises for People with Dementia and their Carers
