Story

Act in Hope

This Lent, we are asking you to offer up as many Acts of Hope as you can as part of your Lenten practice. Your Acts of Hope show your solidarity with those facing hunger on the front line of the Climate Emergency. Why not ask your loved ones to sponsor your Act of Hope to help our sisters and brothers living in poverty in Malawi?

The money you raise can prevent hunger and bring hope to some of the poorest families on earth, helping them to grow more food and earn more money in areas devastated by climate change.

Eat in Hope. To make a positive change, why not Eat in Hope by committing to a vegetarian diet for all or some of Lent, or by only buying local or organic products for 40 days?

Travel in Hope. Why not Travel in Hope and commit to taking public transport, or walking, cycling and running to work this Lent?

Reuse in Hope. This Lent, Reuse in Hope by giving up single-use items such as coffee cups, or go further and commit to not buying any new non-essential items, such as clothes or electronics.

Donate in Hope. Give up something you love for Lent like chocolate or wine, and donate the money you would've spent. Teachers and parents - you could get the kids involved with a group fundraising page.
