Visit the charity's profileWelcome to the home page for the Kilimanjaro Trek! After an unexpected wait in 2020, in summer 2021 our intrepid team of students from the University of Nottingham will finally complete their ultimate bucket-list challenge, trekking to the Roof of Africa!
Taking on the stunning Machame route, the team will trek through contrasting terrains, from rocky ravines to jungle climates, culminating at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in time for sunrise on the highest freestanding mountain in the world!
As part of their challenge, each student is fundraising for Action Against Hunger to support our lifesaving work in almost 50 countries worldwide, including in Tanzania itself. Together, they have already raised thousands to fund our urgent mission to save the lives of malnourished children and your donations will help to fund our mission to create a world free from hunger, for everyone, for good.
