The ACO returns to London as part of its 50th birthday celebrations, with a special concert at the Barbican on 21 March 2025.

Our aim is to return in 2026 to present concerts over summer.

The Orchestra has a strong affiliation with London, having given 64 concerts in the city since our debut there in 1982. We have received five-star reviews from publications including The Times, The Guardian UK and The Telegraph. In 2017, the ACO was honoured to be invited to play a special private concert for HM King Charles III at Buckingham Palace. In 2018 we further strengthened our ties to London and the UK with a three-year residency at the legendary Barbican Centre.
