Will you help displaced young Christians?
In the leadup to #RedWednesday (20th November), we are calling for action and advocacy for young Christians around the world. Your action will help suffering and displaced children and young people suffering the aftermath of persecution and violence, just for being a Christian
Please take a look at the gallery images to see how people are fundraising and why. Your support whether through a sporting fundraising challenge or utilizing skills baking or making and selling candles etc makes you an active part of ACN #TeamRed.
For children growing up in war, conflict or with threat of violence, the world is a fearful and dangerous place. In countries where Christians are persecuted, Christian children are collateral damage in the overall brutality – and the numbers run to millions. The needs are huge - they need our help.
£25 will help provide trauma counselling for children and adults emotionally scarred by what they have lived through.
£50 will help a Sister to provide care and spiritual support for families in huge distress.
£100 will help with emergency relief – food, water and shelter – for those escaping violence.
£500 will support young men who willingly defy persecution to become priests.
£1000 will help to keep Christ present by re-building Churches destroyed by violence.
