Visit the charity's profileWe are seeking 40 people to join our team for this years highly anticipated Whole Hog event. The five-mile obstacle course event will be back this year at Wantisden Valley on Sunday 10th October, and is expected to be one of the most competitive and well attended yet.
As part of our 40th anniversary year, we keen to recruit our own team, who will aim to raise £100 each as well as completing the muddy 30-obstacle event course.
After a challenging year for all charities, we are eager to use this popular Suffolk sporting activity to raise vital funds which will contribute to programmes supporting families throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Essex.
We're really excited about the prospect of putting together our own Whole Hog team as part of our calendar of events and activities to mark our 40th anniversary celebrations. Were asking for each person to raise £100 to participate, which could fund a practitioner for a day in supporting a child or family in the East of England, so we hope that will fuel the desire to help us and to contribute to a really important cause." - Vicky Matthews, Philanthropy Manager
All selected team members will receive entry to the event, an Ormiston Families t-shirt, a water bottle, an event t-shirt, an outdoor summer training session and a Whole Hog medal.
