**** Thank you to William Blair & Co. and our incredible DMSF Associate Board member and Alum, Manny Hodzic for the incredible contribution of $5,000 to bring us closer to our #GivingTuesday goal! Shout out to Manny and team!
Please support the DMSF Associate Board's efforts in fundraising for our Mentorship Program. Mentors, like many of our Associate Board members, get to work directly with Murphy Scholars in guiding them through their goals in high school, college, and career planning.
This program typically involves outings, networking events, and much more. Because of the pandemic, we have put a halt to some programming to focus on other needs of the organization. This year, the Mentorship Program is back and ready to recruit more mentors to reach our bright Murphy Scholars. Join us in celebrating our Scholar and Mentor pairs by donating this Giving Tuesday.

"I mentor because it is one way I have found to give back to my Chicago community. I was fortunate growing up to have a support system of friends and family that taught me how to navigate the high school, collegiate, and professional world effectively. My hope is that I can pass on some of these learnings to the DMSF mentee class. These kids are truly incredible and have so much potential, and as a young professional, I can only hope to contribute to supporting them on their journey. The DMSF Associate Board is the group of young professionals committed to supporting Murphy Scholars, providing access for Scholar Alumni to get involved with DMSF, and utilizing their connections to increase our reach through social media, networking, and volunteerism.
The mission of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund is to give high school scholarship assistance and educational support to Chicago students from under-resourced neighborhoods. DMSF seeks to make a life-altering difference in the lives of its Scholars by providing them with the best opportunity to succeed in high school and college.
