Congratulations to Gateway K8 for reaching their goal so that more students have access to the quality instruments they need to learn, grow, and thrive!

The Gateway K8 band and orchestra programs need your help! Flutes, low brass, violins, and celli are needed to allow additional students to enroll in the programs, eliminate instrument sharing, and replace aged instruments that are beyond repair.

When asked what playing music means to them, Gateway K8 student Kayla answered, "Music is an art, it takes years to master." "Music is life," said James. Aedan replied,"Music is not how you play it, it's how you express it."

Schools participating in the Adopt A School campaign are qualified through MHOF’s vetting and eligibility process, giving donors confidence that their investment is protected and sustainable, impacting students for a minimum of 10 years (the lifespan of an instrument in a school setting.) Donations made to this school’s fundraising campaign go directly to The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation (MHOF). MHOF then purchases the specific instruments the school is in need of at a substantially discounted price and the instruments deliver directly to the school.
