Ride2Give - Supporting Aaron in his battle to beat Glioblastoma (a fast growing brain tumour)

Following the completion of both Chemo & Radiotherapy, Aaron needs further Cell Therapy. Oncolytic Viral Therapy is an incredibly promising form of treatment only available abroad for Aaron, and you can help raise funds to make that possible.

Story

Meet Aaron...

Aaron is an 18 year old student and rugby player who lives in Langford, Bedfordshire with his parents and brother, Adam. He is an avid and passionate rugby player standing at 6’5”!

Having played for local team, Ampthill RC and consequently being offered the chance to not only play International Rugby but also a scholarship with Brunel University, he has been preparing for his final exams and has a dream to one day be a professional rugby player.

We first rode out to meet Aaron on one of the hottest days of 2024, only to learn that all the hopes and dreams he’d made only a few months ago, when he turned 18 in April, have all been put on hold as he fights a high-grade brain tumour. His final diagnosis of Glioblastoma was confirmed on the 10th May 2024.

The Next Step for Aaron:

Aaron was told he would never play rugby again or regain full mobility, both of which he point blank refuses to believe!

Early signs of treatment have been positive, and now your donations will go directly to help secure further life changing treatment for Aaron.
