This is a fantastic opportunity to challenge any fear of heights enjoy the historic surroundings of Derry~Londonderry City whilst raising much needed funds for the life saving service of Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.
Since July 2017, the Air Ambulance service has helped save lives all over Northern Ireland. Thanks to the generous support of our communities, Air Ambulance NI and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) work in partnership to provide the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service, which offers advanced pre-hospital critical care to trauma patients anywhere in the province.
This service operates seven days a week for 12 hours per day, and from its operational base in Lisburn can reach even the furthest areas in approximately 25 minutes.
Those few minutes can mean the difference between life and death, but HEMS ensures swift attendance of emergency medical care for casualties anywhere and everywhere across the region — whether that’s in the home or workplace, at the roadside, or at the mountainside. The HEMS team have attended over 4,235 taskings since our first on 22nd July 2017, with an average of 2 per day – this simply wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our local communities.
We need 30 thrill seekers to take on this spectacular challenge, it’s the perfect day to rally your colleagues for a team building experience, or friends and family for a day out with a difference.
