It's World Autism Awareness Month but for all of us its very different this year as we launch our Coronavirus Crisis Appeal and urge our friends and family to please support us.

This is a time of great anxiety and uncertainty and the current situation is having a profound impact on autistic children and young people and their families.

For many young people, structure and routine has been turned upside down and we don't know when normality will return. Meanwhile disruption to support and education services mean families are being placed under even greater strain.

At this time of critical need, Ambitious about Autism is determined to be there for our community.

We urgently need to provide vital IT resources for pupils across our schools and colleges, so they can continue their learning even if they can't physically get to school.

£10,000 will enable us to make sure this vital equipment has the highly specialised autism-specific software needed.

Help us to make sure children and young people with autism are supported to maintain learning and communication throughout the crisis.
