Story

Now in its second year, the event will take place on Saturday 18th June and will see Woodsides employees take to the streets or climb mountains to raise vital funds for charity partner Air Ambulance NI. On the back of the success from last years challenge, Woodside Logistics Group raised just shy of £2,000 for the charity and aim to try and succeed this at the 2022 event.

This 18th June two of Woodsides Driver Trainers (Niki and Darren), will undertake the ultimate challenge. Running a 10K from Maghaberry Village to the Air Ambulance NI Base, where they will mount on their bikes and cycle the 28 miles to Newcastle, Co-Down. Swapping the bikes for walking boots, they will embark on the 4 hour climb and decent of Slieve Donard Mountain, and finish the challenge by cycling the 28 miles back to the Air Ambulance NI base. Joining them throughout the course will be other employees from the group.
