On the 2nd of October WoW (Women on Wheels) are holding the first ever all-female sportive to be held in glorious Worcestershire.
For more information on the route(s) and to book a space via the British Cycling website please click here.
Women on Wheels are supporting New College Worcester in this event and aim to raise money to buy and maintain a tandem bike for the students to use.
NCW is a national residential school and college for young people aged 11 to 19 who are blind or vision impaired.
The students at the college LOVE cycling and can often be seen tandem cycling around the campus. It is one of the most popular after school activities. An extra tandem bike would be invaluable to the College and students and a real asset.
Women on Wheel would be delighted if riders of the sportive would like to fundraise for the tandem bike. They believe that everyone should have the opportunity to fall in love with cycling, regardless of disability.
Donations can be made to this main page by clicking 'give now' or please click 'start fundraising' to create your own page.
Many thanks in advance.
