Wessex Cancer Trust are launching Wessex Aid, our first virtual concert, to raise money for local families affected by cancer. Due to COVID-19, the majority of our major fundraising events have been cancelled and we're having to find new ways of fundraising to keep our services going.
The charity, which covers Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight, is continuing to support people remotely during the pandemic.
Famous faces, including the likes of Level 42 star Mark King, Wessex Boy Frank Turner and Feeder's Grant Nicholas, are lining up to support Wessex Cancer Trust as we host our first virtual concert, Wessex Aid, this weekend (Saturday, June 20th).
A long list of stars and community groups will perform a song for the fundraising event which will premiere live on our Wessex Cancer Trust Facebook page from 8pm.
Tune into www.facebook.com/WessexCancer to watch the concert, which has been produced in association with the Isle of Wight's Nosy Marketing.
* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
