To clock up 400 miles as a Church Community to celebrate our 400th Anniversary. (Not for every member to walk 400 miles individually!)
For each mile we aim to raise £2.
We aim to raise £800 to the Cancer Fund for Children.
JOIN IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS
There are three simple steps to getting involved.
1. Walk
2. Record
3. Donate
STEP ONE IS WALK:
Pick a day, time and distance of your choosing - and get your walking shoes on! You can walk on your own or in a group, around Dromore or on a Hiking Trail or in a nearby Park.
STEP TWO IS RECORD:
RECORD THE EVENT: Take Photo's, selfies and perhaps even a short video and share them on the WALK400 What's App group. Tell us a bit about your walk - who, when and where - how many miles you walked, your donation amount, and please confirm whether you have donated online or intend to leave cash into church.
RECORD THE MILES: When walking as a group or a family, only record the actual distance of the route walked. In other words, we will be counting only the miles of each journey, not the cumulative miles of all the people on that journey.
For example: If a family of four go for a two-mile walk, then the number of miles logged towards the Walk 400 target is still only two miles. Its NOT 8 miles.
STEP THREE IS DONATE:
For every mile recorded, donate £2 on our WALK400 JustGiving Campaign Page.
