HCC's Academy for Vocational Advancement and Skill Training (VAST) has been transforming the lives of students by giving them a chance to receive affordable college career-readiness training leading to meaningful credentials, employment, and independence since 1990.

VAST Academy provides post-secondary transition programs and comprehensive support services, which lead to meaningful credentials, employment and independence for differently-abled individuals. Opportunities include vocational certificates, pre-college and freshman success bridge courses, career readiness credentials, internships and employment assistance offered through an inclusive, relevant and affordable avenue.

VAST is a nationally-recognized program that empowers young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to transition into independent living and employment through comprehensive training and support.
