This August, ride for kids with cancer!

The Unravel Go Gold Cycle Challenge is a fun, easy way to be active in the fight against childhood cancer, and is designed for riders of all ages and all skill levels! Whether you ride outside or stationary, you can join the challenge as a family, as a team, or as a solo rider.

How it works:

1. REGISTER to join the challenge!

Sign up now (at no cost) by selecting the "Start Fundraising" option and set a goal for how many miles you will try to ride during the month of August. Your goal could be 10, 50, 100, or 500 miles. Whatever works for you and your life. It all counts!

2. SHARE with your community.

Tell your community about your goal to help children with cancer! You can start this part as soon as you'd like. The more you share about your commitment to the challenge, the more aware those around you will become about pediatric cancer. We provide free social media tools for you to use.

3. RIDE!

During the month of August, get out and ride your bike for kids with cancer! Log your miles and complete your challenge.

Why:

This challenge was started in memory of a smart, funny, brave little girl named Elayna, who is forever 9 years old.

Elayna's Dad shared his love of cycling with his daughter, and he hopes that this challenge will spread awareness and raise much needed funds for Unravel Pediatric Cancer- a non-profit organization that strives to find and support truly innovative pediatric cancer research in a way that propels it forward rapidly- so that our youngest warriors have better treatment options. On April 13th of 2014, Elayna's family received the devastating news that Elayna had cancer- and the world was never the same. She fought heroically for 4 1/2 years against cancer, but in the end, her life was cut tragically short. Her dad rides in her honor.

We hope you will ride to help us fight childhood cancer so that children like Elayna, and so many more, get the chance to grow up.
