Story
On the 9th May 2019 while out cycling, Unipart Logistics Chief Commercial Officer Claire Walters was involved in a serious collision with a car, regaining consciousness only occasionally in the Cornwall Air Ambulance, whose crew had carried out lifesaving treatment at the scene before transferring her to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth where she spent a number of weeks in intensive care with multiple serious injuries.
Between 13th -15th October Claire and the Unipart Team will cycle between Air Ambulance bases in Wiltshire, Devon and Cornwall, covering 450km and climbing over 14,000ft - more than the UKs four peaks combined.
This is a chance to for Claire to say thank you to the teams who saved her life, and for Unipart Logistics to raise vital funds which will directly support the UKs Air Ambulances that complete an incredible 80 life-saving missions every day.
