The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileOn the 23rd of March 2020 the UK entered lock down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result many Sex Workers suddenly found themselves with no income and extremely limited support options.
Umbrella Lane - a small charity based in Scotland - saw the situation Sex Workers were in and knew they had to do something. This led to the creation of the Umbrella Lane Emergency Fund, which is available to all Sex Workers based in Scotland.
Due to being a smaller charity, with limited funding, Umbrella Lane has relied on crowdfunding and the generosity of both individuals and other groups to enable them to provide the much needed financial support to Sex Workers.
Their fundraising efforts will continue for as long as Sex Workers find themselves in times of hardship.
Your donation and support is greatly appreciated.
In solidarity,
Umbrella Lane
