Love Mercy Hope is working to support the building of 10 water wells, in 10 Uganda villages, which they are in absolute dire need of as you can see from the photos taken.

Each well is going to cost £1,200 to build, as most modern wells require a complicated and fairly expensive drill rig to drill 1000 ft deep, where a pump will be placed to pump the water to the surface.

However, the extremely sad reality is that 783 million people worldwide do not have access to clean water.

It's so much more than just clean water. Having reliable access to safe, clean water means that drinking, cooking, washing, watering crops and animals and making wudu no longer pose a risk of illness.

Having access to a water well gives the less fortunate a chance to break free from poverty and transform their lives for years to come.
