Breathtakingly beautiful, St Marys Aisle is the oldest part of Truro Cathedral. It has seen hundreds of lovely family events and school visits over many years, and we want to provide even more activities in the years to come. But the roof is worn out, and water is already coming in - like in August last year.
We have raised more than £500,000 in donations, grants and gifts in Wills to save the Aisle from serious water damage and refurbish it for activities and events for all the family. This means that we are now able to carry out urgently needed repairs.
Our heartfelt thanks go to every supporter, including The Dulverton Trust, Duke of Cornwall's Benevolent Fund, H.B. Allen Charitable Trust, Benefact Trust, Bernard Sunley Foundation, Garfield Weston Foundation, Wolfson Foundation, Friends of Truro Cathedral and the Cornwall Historic Churches Trust.
