Story
Every year Soundabout supporters gather at the beautiful Chalkhouse Green Farm for a special fundraising event. Sadly, due to COVID-19 this event is unable to go ahead so we are moving the festivities online instead! Join us on Sun 12 July on Facebook for Thomas' Tea Party - an incredibly special fundraising event featuring amazing musicians and celebrity guests.
Running from 2pm to 6.30pm, we'd love you to get involved by hosting your own socially distanced tea party at home whilst listening to fantastic music and raising vital funds. Thomas' Tea Party is free to attend but we are asking for a suggested donation of £10 to help us keep changing lives through music for another 25 years. A fund-raising pack is available to download on Soundabout's website.
"How can you place a value on what Soundabout offers? It allows children with no other way of expressing themselves- a voice. They are among equals - all can join in."
Since being founded in 1995, Soundabout has provided music sessions and training to many schools, organisations, and individuals. The charity also runs weekly music sessions in the community, special projects such as Sounds of Nature - an outdoor music making session - and an Inclusive Choir. None of this would be possible without your amazing support.
