Story
The 7th annual Big Walk is going to be an event never to forget!
To take part you will need to walk 26 miles in the month of July. You can complete the walk at your pace - whether you challenge yourself to walk the miles in one day or gradually throughout the month.
To support you in this special Big Walk we have created an exclusive walk chart where you can map your progress as if you're doing the real thing. Imagine yourself at the starting line, The Principality Stadium, then passing the regular stops along the way, The Old Post in Bonvilston, The Duke of Wellington in Cowbridge, almost there at Heronston Hotel and finally after 26 miles your feeling of triumph as you reach Kenfig Hill RFC.
This year more than ever we need your support. So please show your support and join in where and when you can.
We want it to be fun so as usual have set a theme, this year "Go Blue for the Boys" - we are so excited to see your photos and videos on social media spreading awareness and showing your support across Wales. Keep us up to date with hashtags #TogetherinSpirit2020 and #SavetheMalesinWales
As an extra thank you, everyone who raises over £30 will receive a commemorative medal on completion of the walk.
We may not be able to walk together this year, but we can be together in spirit. Why not encourage your friends, family and colleagues to get involved? How about challenging each other to walk the 26 miles the quickest?
Fundraising as a group can be really fun, especially in lockdown as a way to feel connected.
Please support us in July in support of men in Wales and their families fighting prostate disease and cancer.
