Our studio re-opened a few months ago, and it has been fantastic to see how much our artists are enjoying being back in their beloved home-from-home. We have seen an incredible surge in creativity!

To allow our artists to keep coming to Venture Arts in a Covid-safe way, we've had to reduce the daily capacity in the main studio, make significant alterations to the space, and pay for ongoing extra cleaning and PPE equipment. We are now delivering our sessions across several spaces, with social distancing in place - requiring more resources, and increasing our running costs.

Last year, the Great Manchester Run was cancelled due to Covid-19, and we had to stand down Team Venture Arts. This was a blow, as it was planned as one of our main fundraisers. We were thrilled that the event was back this year. Team Venture Arts conquered the city's streets. Our 10k team did really well - the women came 1st and the men 3rd in the small organisation category of the Business Challenge. Well done to all of them, and to our first Half Marathon participant and our 'couch to 5k' challengers!
