Story
Our SWICC (Swindon Intermediary Care Centre) is made up of two wards. Forest Ward an in-patient stroke and general rehabilitation ward and Orchard Ward a community "Step Up" ward which supports patients following surgery or falls so that they can avoid the need for long term admission into hospital. The centre has two large communal lounge areas (one on each floor) that are really dated. The unit would like to transform the rooms into a home away from home raising funds to help paint the walls and purchase soft furnishings.
