Hovnanian Children's Hospital is a proud member of the Hackensack Meridian Children's Network, which works to bring together pediatric care services throughout the Hackensack Meridian Health network. No matter what hospital or facility you enter into with your child, you are surrounded by a team of doctors, caregivers, and services that provide seamless coordination of care through every step of a child's disability, injury or illness.

At the heart of our pediatric network, K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is one of a select group of state-designated children's hospitals in New Jersey, and the first and largest in Monmouth and Ocean counties. At our core, we're 300 community pediatricians, obstetricians, and family practitioners working side-by-side with the region's largest group of pediatric sub-specialists.

K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital is also part of the Children's Hospital Association, an organization that is one of the nations premier voices for children's hospitals and champions policies to support the highest quality care for kids in our communities.

Our state-of-the-art facility, includes a pediatric emergency care center, a specialty care center, a pediatric acute care unit with private patient rooms, and neonatal and pediatric intensive care units to take care of critically-ill patients. The Trauma Center at Jersey Shore University Medical Center has been verified as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons. Jersey Shore University Medical Center is the only hospital in Monmouth and Ocean counties, and the eastern part of New Jersey to earn this elite designation. It is one of only three hospitals in the state with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center verification.

In 2018, Jersey Shore University Medical Center opened the HOPE Tower on its east campus. This 10-story facility houses an array of pediatric outpatient programs and services encompassing the buildings entire 5th floor including gastroenterology, endocrinology, pulmonology, infectious diseases, neurology, nephrology, hematology and oncology.
