Donate today and help older people in Richmond!
Age UK Richmond is at the forefront of supporting older people in the London Borough of Richmond. As an independent charity, responsible for raising our own funds, your continued support and donations during these difficult times will help us keep vulnerable older people safe and well.
Help us make sure we can provide the help they need by supporting our emergency appeal to raise £10,000 and continue supporting older people in need in the borough. With nearly 30,000 older people aged 65+ in Richmond being told to stay at home, we know we need to do more to make sure our older community stay safe and well at this time.
We are already supporting the community with emergency food parcels. In a response to this we have turned our Twickenham Wellbeing Centre into a food hub. Staff are working continuously to support those most in need.
We are also an invaluable source of trusted information and advice, we are offering a befriending telephone service to those who have no one to talk to and are also helping with emergency handyperson jobs. We are also working hard in keeping those at home engaged and healthy and have launched our first online exercise, cooking and music classes. We continue adapting and are now able to offer free IT support for those who need it.
This Just Giving appeal and the generosity of the community could help us continue delivering our dedicated work during this difficult time. Every penny donated will help us deliver the increased care and support needed to keep older people safe and well at home.
Thank you for your support
