Every year the congregations in the churches which make up the Diocese of St Asaph raise money to support a charity. The 2022 Diocesan Offering will go to a farming project run in the Diocese of South West Tanganyika by Bishop Matthew.

Story
This year, the diocesan offering will support the development of a new 70 acre farm being established on land owned by the Diocese of South West Tanganyika in our link diocese in Tanzania. The farm will grow Avocados. Alongside this there will be beehives and two cows to produce manure. After three years, the farm will harvest Avocados and the profits used to:
train church ministers (50%)
support orphans (25%)
create a low-interest credit fund to support young people and women (25%)
Bishop Matthew said: "If we get that money from St Asaph, it will help us a lot. It is good news for us. I thank Bishop Gregory Cameron and all brothers and sisters in St Asaph. Thank you very much."
