Story

St Marys Church Uffington is locally known as 'The Cathedral of the Vale' and is featured in Simon Jenkins' 'England's Thousand Best Churches'. The present clock, that was installed in 1910, strikes every quarter of an hour. Some say it is the heartbeat of the village and it can be heard across the community.

In August 2022 the clock broke down and is in need of serious restoration. This resulted in the setting up of the Uffington Church Clock Restoration Fund (UCCRF)

Please help in anyway you can so that we can repair this ancient clock that has served our community for more than 100 years.
